Pear and chocolate chip muffins recipe
Pear and chocolate chip muffins
These little muffins are the perfect size for snack or dessert. The recipe makes about a dozen muffins, which won't last long, guaranteed! If you are less greedy than us at home, you might have enough to freeze some hihi!
Do not hesitate to involve your children in the preparation of meals and snacks. It requires a certain letting go, we admit, but if we play the game, it promotes complicity and discussions. In addition, your children will develop their autonomy and will have more confidence in the kitchen. Tools that will follow them all their life!
Ingredients (for 12 muffins)
1/3 cup unsalted butter at room temperature (if your butter is salted, omit the salt)
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 t + 2 tbsp. soup milk
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 c pears, peeled and cut into small cubes (2-3 pears)
1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 t flour (on put half and half white flour and wheat flour)
1 C. tea baking powder
1/4 tsp soda (baking soda)
1/4 tsp. salt tea
1/4 tsp. cinnamon tea (optional)
Preheat the oven to 350F. Place paper boxes in muffin cups.
In a bowl, cream the butter and sugar.
Add the egg, milk and vanilla and mix well. With a wooden spoon, add the pears and nuggets. Reserve.
In a large bowl, mix together the dry ingredients. Add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients with a wooden spoon, not stirring too much (just enough).
Divide the mixture among 12 muffin cups. Bake 20-30 min until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool for 15 minutes before unmolding (otherwise the muffins will not hold together enough and will stick to the paper case).
